The Center for Democracy and Technology's AI Policy tracker compiles a rapidly growing corpus into a single database with search functions. By bringing together all of CDT’s work on AI, the tracker enables a quick review of CDT’s AI-related policy positions, archives previous positions that may have changed, and promotes the discovery of common themes in CDT’s AI work. This search tool can find CDT reports, comments, and blog posts by date, keyword, topic, or audience.

New America knows that with the rapid use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and tools in schools nationwide, educators, policymakers, and leaders are grappling with fundamental questions about how educators and learners might safely and effectively use, understand, and evaluate AI. As a result, states, districts, and others have developed implementation guidelines and frameworks housed in a table on this page. The table was first published on 4-24-2024 and updated as of 8-08-2024 with state resources on Page 1, and general resources on Page 2. District resources are listed in the Resource section, as well.
