EDSAFE AI Industry Council
The EDSAFE AI Industry Council comprises leading education and technology companies of all sizes, committed to ensuring that artificial intelligence and related technologies, in their own solutions and across the education landscape, are safe, accountable, fair, and effective (SAFE).
Members of the Industry Council inform, support, and advocate for smart, EDSAFE-aligned public policy and principles; participate in knowledge sharing; and help equip the adoption of SAFE technologies in collaboration with other Steering Committee groups. Industry Council members do NOT pay fees to participate.

Jason Green, EDSAFE AI Industry Council Chair
Jason Green is the bestselling co- author of Blended Learning in Action, President and Co-Founder of Yourway Learning, and Chairperson of the EDSAFE AI Industry Council. Inspired by his youth development and nonprofit work as a student at Morehouse College, Green has dedicated his career to creating positive change in education. Jason has helped thousands of schools and districts reimagine and implement next generation teaching and learning. Based on a research collaboration with Stanford University Graduate School of Education, Jason develops AI-technology to deliver high quality, equitable learning to all students. Jason is a lifelong learner, new father, holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania, and speaks at leading universities and conferences around the world.
Sunil Gunderia is Co-founder and CEO of Mindset CoPilot, where he builds learning systems that turn knowledge into durable professional capability.
He is a strategic advisor to the Center for Outcomes-Based Contracting, which advances a model that links educational investments to measurable student success. He serves on the boards of InnovateEDU and Children’s Institute of Los Angeles, and is a Venture Partner at Emerge, supporting early-stage education companies globally.
Previously, Sunil spent twelve years at Age of Learning as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. He founded and scaled the company’s schools business and co-invented its personalized learning platform. The platform was validated by more than 30 research studies demonstrating impact across tens of thousands of classrooms.
Earlier in his career, he launched and led new technology businesses for The Walt Disney Company across international markets.

Dr. Tracy Weeks, EDSAFE AI Industry Council Vice Chair
Dr. Tracy Savell Weeks is a seasoned education leader with extensive experience in education policy, business development, and digital learning. She currently leads Education Policy Strategy at Instructure, where she drives the company’s federal policy agenda, manages key relationships, and activates policies and education initiatives that align with the company’s mission and business objectives.
Previously, Dr. Weeks served as Vice President of State Partnerships and Government Affairs at Securly, influencing education policy and cultivating strategic relationships. She has also held leadership roles at Microsoft and the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA), shaping national education strategies and digital learning policies.
Her experience extends to state education leadership, having served as Chief Academic and Digital Learning Officer at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and Executive Director of the North Carolina Virtual Public School.
Tracy holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina State University and has contributed to higher education as an adjunct professor. A respected speaker and policy advisor, she has presented at the White House, Capitol Hill, and major education conferences nationwide.
