2024 EDSAFE AI Ally Program

We believe that every enthusiastic individual should have an opportunity to contribute and grow in this field. Therefore, we are pleased to extend an invitation to participate in our EDSAFE AI Ally Program, designed as a less intensive but equally enriching experience. This parallel initiative mirrors the core intentions of the original fellowship, offering access to a range of resources, virtual workshops, and networking opportunities that will allow you to engage with the community and further your interests and skills in AI and education.

Aspects of the Ally program include:

Mentorship and Networking: Provide opportunities for participants to connect with mentors and peers through virtual networking events, mentorship pairings, or online discussion forums. This could be access to their own Slack channels.

Project Work: Encourage participants to engage in individual or group projects, which can be smaller in scale compared to the primary fellowship. These projects can be showcased in a virtual symposium at the program's end.

  • Professional Development Opportunities: Access to monthly recordings of webinars with experts in the field of safe and equitable AI in education.

  • Certification or Recognition: Offer a certificate of completion or recognition for those who meet certain program requirements, adding value to their professional journey.
